Terence Johnson

Executive Director

Terence Johnson is a public health researcher with over eight years of experience managing complex research studies aimed at helping vulnerable populations, including juveniles, incarcerated individuals, and those with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders. He is committed to designing interventions that meet the unmet needs of justice-impacted individuals.

Having seen the U.S. criminal justice system take years away from his loved ones, Terence believes that individuals closest to the impact in the community should lead and shape programming. His work is rooted in the value of lived experience and collective healing, and he is a strong believer in the power of storytelling and meaningful collaboration to create positive change. Terence is dedicated to building affirming spaces and empowering young people through supportive adult relationships, focusing on community and skill-building to help them reach their full potential.

Jamie Jacobs

Director of Operations

Jamie Jacobs joined forces with Reintegration Support Network in June of 2018, providing leadership and organizational development coaching and consulting. In January, 2019 she was invited to join the RSN staff as the organization’s inaugural Executive Director. Jamie led the organization through its start-up phase under a federally-funded SAMHSA grant and stepped out of the ED role in January, 2023. Jamie currently serves as RSN’s Director of Operations.

With 12+ years of nonprofit leadership and management experience, Jamie has a background in leadership and organizational development, program design and implementation, budgeting as well as grant and financial management. Jamie is also an ICF accredited Mentor/Coach, and an Affiliate with Moss & Ross Nonprofit Consulting. Prior to joining the staff at RSN, Jamie served as the Program Director and Mentor Program Coordinator for Johnson Service Corps, a service year program for young adults committed to social-justice, community service, leadership development and vocational discernment. Before venturing into coaching, consulting and the nonprofit sector, Jamie had an extensive “first career” in retail management and corporate training.

Jamie is a devoted swimmer, enjoys the outdoors and her idea of re-creation is quiet time spent with close friends and family, or better yet, going on Retreat!

Amira (AP) Pankey

Director of Programs

Amira “AP” Pankey (they/them) holds a Master of Social Work from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis. Rooted in healing justice, community care, and transformative education, AP’s work centers the lived experiences of youth and young adults, survivors of violence, and historically minoritized communities. With a background in therapeutic practice, organizational consulting, mentorship, and program development, AP brings a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive lens to everything they do. They are a big believer in the power of storytelling, collective healing, and meaningful collaboration and are passionate about building affirming spaces where young people feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Earl Callair

Program Manager

During his 13 years with the YMCA, Earl held senior leadership roles in Arlington, Greater Richmond, and the Triangle, focusing on Youth Development, Organizational Development, and Diversity and Inclusion. He developed programs, led trainings, and chaired the African American Employee Resource Group. He now serves as the Advocacy and Communications Director for the Kaleidoscope Project.

In ministry, Earl serves as Associate and Youth Pastor at Covenant Life Fellowship Church, working with community partners to strengthen connections between faith and community life. He previously served as Associate/Youth Pastor at Body of Christ Church and Christ Our King Community Church in Raleigh, N.C.

Earl is a graduate of Benedict College and the University of Phoenix (B.A. in Computer Science and Information Technology) and has pursued theological studies at Apex School of Theology and Moody Bible College.

Guided by 1 Corinthians 9:19–23, Earl believes that true impact is measured not by accomplishments but by the lives we touch. His mission is to inspire communities to embrace their God-given gifts and to build spaces of acceptance, respect, and love.
